The Communist Party of Marxism has demanded that authorities designate 544 mandals in Andhra Pradesh as drought-affected regions. The political group also called for the situation to be officially declared a national disaster.ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ లోని 544 మండలాలను కరవు పీడిత ప్రాంతాలుగా గుర్తించాలని మార్క్సిస్ట్ పార్టీ డిమాండ్ చేసింది. ఈ పరిస్థితిని అధికారికంగా జాతీయ విపత్తుగా ప్రకటించాలని కూడా ఆ రాజకీయ సమూహం కోరింది.
